Sunshine Kitty Rescue, an affiliate of Sunshine Piggy Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a non-profit animal rescue in Central Florida dedicated to providing life-saving care for neonatal, young, and abandoned kittens who would not thrive without intervention. Just like our mission with guinea pigs, we focus on the most vulnerable—newborn kittens, orphaned litters, and those requiring round-the-clock care to survive.
Our team specializes in bottle-feeding, medical support, and socialization, ensuring these fragile kittens grow into healthy, happy companions ready for adoption. Many of the kittens we take in are found abandoned, rejected, or struggling in overcrowded shelters, where their chances of survival are slim without specialized intervention.
At Sunshine Kitty Rescue, we believe every life matters. We work tirelessly to provide these tiny fighters with the love, nutrition, and medical attention they need until they are strong enough to find their forever homes. We also educate the community on neonatal kitten care and emphasize the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of at-risk kittens in need.

Intake
Our kitten intake process is designed to ensure that every rescued kitten receives the care they need. If you’ve found a kitten in need, please reach out to us for guidance on the next steps. We assess each kitten’s health, age, and situation to determine the best course of action, whether it’s fostering, medical care, or placement in a loving home.
